Peter Kneute: American Plumber Story

Meet Peter Kneute from Monmouth Plumbing & Heating LLC.
Read his American Plumber story!
How did you get started in the plumbing trade?
My father and uncle are licensed master plumbers. I've been exposed to the plumbing trade my entire life. I used to play with copper fittings instead of legos as a child.
What do you like most about your work as a plumber?
Every single day is a unique experience. Every job is a custom job. In this trade, you teach something and learn something every single day.
What advice do you have for the younger generation entering the plumbing trade?
If you are successful in this trade (success is something different for every person), you will always be able to support yourself. My advice is to find a niche. Something that sets you apart from your competition and gives you an edge. You are the architect of your own life and can decide how to best balance your income versus your personal time. The opportunities are endless and there is no limit to how much you can make if you are willing to work for it.

Pete is a great plumber. He’s done many projects for us in New Jersey. Good guy, too!
