Bryce Loeffler: American Plumber Stories
How did you get started in the plumbing trade?
I got started working for my dad doing large scale pumps and well systems, primarily underwater work. Ended up getting into water treatment, hotel repiping and now residential service and repair.
What do you like most about your work as a plumber?
I love waking up eager to get to work. I get to meet new people, and even though the work can be similar almost everyday it is something different and new. I thoroughly enjoy stepping back when I’m finished and being proud of the work I did.
What advice do you have for the younger generation entering the plumbing trade?
Find the people who are successful and emulate them. Hope isn’t a strategy and don’t get caught up with people who are satisfied to stay in a perpetual state of mediocrity.
